How to Book a Maternity Session

Pregnancy photos are best when booked between 28-33 weeks. We do recommend that you reach out and schedule at least 2 months in advance due to us filling up quickly. My goal is to create the most stress-free maternity session by providing designer gowns, planning out the details of your session, and guiding you through the entire booking process.

Maternity Gowns & Styling

We do provide a client closet filled with designer gowns for all of our clients. It's so important for us to take the stress out of the process for you and finding a dress can some times be very stressful and expensive. We will also help guide you to make sure that your partner and children all have a cohesive style for your photos.

The Studio Process

Once we get you booked, the planning begins! This is where we will come up with a plan for the photo shoot. You'll come in for your session, pick out gowns, and have an incredible photo shoot.

Posing is something that can make or break a session so I fully believe in not only telling you how to pose but showing you. 

After the session, you'll view your images and select the images you love. From there, I will edit your beautiful images! This process is usually about 14 business days.

  • When is it best to schedule my maternity photo shoot?
    We recommend the shoot takes place anywhere between 28-34 weeks of your pregnancy. When to book is a little different though. We recommend you secure your spot when you hit the second trimester. This will help make sure that your desired photographer has availability. Spots do fill up months in advance so it's best to prepare ahead of time.
  • Where are you located
    My spacious photography studio is located in downtown Plant City, Fl. This may seem far away but it is about 20 minutes from Tampa. Lots of clients travel from out of state to have their maternity sessions done by me. If you need help finding accommodations, just let me know!
  • For outdoor sessions, where do you shoot?
    I have a long list of my favorite beaches and local parks for maternity photography sessions. Once booked, i'm happy to share those with you and pick the perfect one for your vision.
  • Is hair and makeup included?
    No, we do not include hair and makeup. We had a lot of Mamas who wanted to book their own hair and makeup artist so we have not continued on offering it. We do however work with two amazing hair and makeup artists that will come to our studio to make this experience unforgettable and stress free for you!
  • Do you provide the gowns and outfits?
    We have an extensive client closet that is available for all of our clients. We have gowns from size 0-26 and have an array of colors and styles to find the perfect fit for you!

Her private commercial studio is located in downtown and is filled with beautiful designer maternity gowns, and every newborn prop and accessory you could ever dream of.

Rachel services Tampa, Clearwater, St. Pete, Lakeland, Wesley Chapel, Orlando, Land O' Lakes, Orlando, and nearby areas in central Florida. She does travel to local Florida beaches like Siesta key, Clearwater, and St. Pete beaches for maternity photo shoots.

We offer both in-studio maternity photography sessions for those Mamas who are hoping to stay out of the heat and humidity or local Florida park, and beaches in St. Pete and Sarasota for outdoor sessions as well! Our studio sessions are meant to make you feel like a complete Goddess! Rachel's style is very polished and has a bit of a sexy vibe! Every Mom leaves talking about how amazingly beautiful they felt, and that is our goal in every session! ​
